Jungle Scene

Hello everyone, i'm back with another painting. For this piece, i tried to experimented using some traditional painting method's combined with digital techniques to achieve the final look for this concept. Setting the mood and lighting for this piece was definitely one of the most fun and challenging aspects. But i'm glad it turned out alright. Hope you guys like it!

Forest Dream Environment Tutorial

 

Hello everyone. I know i've said a long time ago that i would be doing some tutorials on the process behind how i create my environment paintings. Well it's been long overdue, but here is the first of many to come. This tutorial was done for my latest piece Forest Dream. I've summarized most of the steps that i do and if you have any questions, feel free to ask away. Forest Dream

Hello everyone once again. I present to you a new painting which i had been working on. The idea was to paint a forest scene with a dreamy feeling to it. I used really harsh lighting and atmospheric fog to portray this. Hopefully you guys enjoy this piece as much as i did painting it.

Castle Of Juno

Hello everyone. A new painting which i have been working on for the past week on and off. Concept for the painting was pretty much a medieval fantasy themed environment with mountains, castles and birds :) Really enjoyed setting the lighting and atmosphere for this piece. I feel that there are certain things that i could have done better, but im going to call this piece done and move on. Hope you guys like it!

Hello everyone. Been working on a new painting for the last few days on and off. It's one of those paintings where i tried new techniques to try and make my work better. Hello everyone! A new painting which i did today. I really explored alot with the colour palette for this piece. I wanted to really play around with the warm and cool contrast of colours in the mood of the painting. A pretty fun piece to work on. Hope you guys like it!

The Cold Fort

Hello everyone! A new concept painting done recently. Decided to go for an environment that is cold and has snow in it. A really fun piece to do, using different techniques and brush settings to achieve the wanted look for the piece. I had alot of fun adding the red colors into the scene. Red is a very difficult color to control, but hopefully it came out well here. Painted in Photoshop CS5 with Wacom Intuos 4.
